Romanian diary. Timisoara, one of the longest-running productions in the repertoire of the German State Theater, written and directed by Carmen Lidia Vidu, will be performed twice in March - away from home at the West Theater in Reșița and in Timisoara on the stage of the GSTT.


Thus, the audience from Reșița is invited to discover the personal stories of the six actresses of the ensemble, moments of happiness or pain, success or failure, stories of trauma or depression, of estrangement and reunion, based almost exclusively on their experiences in relation to the city and its identity, on Saturday, March 2, 2024, starting at 19:00.

Then, on 10 March 2024, at 7.30 pm, we invite the Timisoara audience to a performance at home, on the GSTT stage.

Romanian Diary. Timișoara, a performance selected at a number of national and international festivals, is a multidisciplinary project that brings together film, photography and theatre, and aims to be, through a series of uncensored and unmediated confessions, a sincere mirror of inter-human relationships, decisively influenced by the urban environment, but also an exhortation to social and community involvement. The architecture of the performance is determined by the biography of the actors, whose role is to unravel and map the ways in which parents, friends, strangers, and the city, through its neighbourhoods, inhabitants, artists and people, can be found in the city.
