We are happy to announce that the performance TSCHICK. Why We Took the Car by Wolfgang Herrndorf, stage adaptation by Robert Koall, directed by Irisz Kovacs, has been included in the programme of the Sibiu International Theatre Festival.


TSCHICK. Why We Took the Car will be performed on Sunday, 23 June 2024, at 18:00 on the stage of the Gong Theatre in Sibiu. The performance tells the story of Maik and Tschick, two boys from Berlin disappointed by their families, who decide to run away from home with a stolen car. In their adventures they will meet all kinds of people, some like them, some completely different, from whom they will learn that no matter how complicated life gets, the things that really matter are friendship, loyalty and love.


The 31st edition of the Sibiu International Theatre Festival will take place from 21 to 30 June 2024 and this year's theme is "Friendship". More details about the programme and selection on the FITS website: https://sibfest.ro/
