Concept and direction: Eugen Jebeleanu after "Tom à la ferme" by Michel Marc Bouchard
A creart / TEATRELLI production
"The Widow Boy" after "Tom à la ferme" by Michel Marc Bouchard, directed by Eugen Jebeleanu, tells the story of young Tom and his journey to the small provincial town where the family of his lover, who died in a car accident, lives.
The show offers a brave insight into the intimacy of interpersonal relationships and the stigmas still present in society. Between tenderness and violence, the characters in Bouchard's text (screened in 2013 by Xavier Dolan) juggle between being victims and executioners, driven by suppressed desires and animal urges.
