The German State Theatre Timisoara, in partnership with the "Nikolaus Lenau" High School, organizes the 22nd edition of the International Festival of German-Speaking Youth Theatre, a project of school theatre and theatre pedagogy in German language, in which students from Croatia, Germany and Romania participate.

Over a period of five days, from 26-30.04.2024 there will be 15 theatre performances presented by 10 school theatre groups, a performance by the artistic team of the German State Theatre Timisoara, 11 pedagogical modules in the form of workshops, held by 11 workshop coordinators.

During the Festival, theatre is used both as an artistic form and as a tool for shaping the personality of individuals, especially the young audience, helping to develop critical thinking, analysis of society, history, landmarks and keys to deciphering certain behaviours and social patterns.

The artistic coordination of the whole Festival is ensured by the actors TGST, Isolde Cobeț, Robert Schein Bogdanov and Alma Diaconu.
