Radu Brănici was born in 1993 in Arad and grew up in Sibiu. He studied Performing Arts at the Faculty of Music and Theatre în Timișoara and has been a member of the German State Theatre Timișoara ensemble since 2015.
In 2017 he was nominated for an Award of the Romanian Theater Association UNITER for the role of Moritz in "Spring Awakening", directed by Charles Muller. Radu has collaborated with Ada Milea on musicals such as "Bremen" (directed by Alexandru Dabija) at GSTT and "Apolodor" at Gong Theatre in Sibiu.
Other roles worth mentioning are: Franz in "Katzelmacher. If it were not about love" by Rainer Werner Fassbinder (directed by Eugen Jebeleanu), Billy in "Europa" by David Greig (directed by Alexandru Mihăescu) and Alois in "Blessed" (directed by Simona Vintilă).
Radu also plays in musicals and children's shows such as "The Jungle Book" after the work of Rudyard Kipling (directed and choreographed by Răzvan Mazilu) and "The Snow Queen" by Evgheni Schwarz (directed by László Béres).
