Isa Berger was born in 1988 in Orsova, she graduated from the Timisoara Nikolaus Lenau High School and the German Department in International Relations and European Studies at the Timisoara Faculty of Philosophy, Political and Communication Sciences. Afterwards, also at the West University in Timisoara, she studied drama in German language. She has been a member of the GSTT ensemble since 2013 and directors such as Alexander Hausvater, István K. Szabó, Laszlo Bocśardi, Yuri Kordonsky, Silviu Purcărete, Peter Kerek, Cristian Ban, Lászlo Béréș, Răzvan Mazilu and Niky Wolcz have shaped her acting career.
More recently, she has appeared and continues to appear in performances of "The Snow Queen" by Yevgeny Schwarz (directed by László Béres), "Leonce and Lena" by Georg Büchner (directed by Niky Wolcz), in "The Jungle Book" based on the story book of the same name by Rudyard Kipling (directed by Răzvan Mazilu) and in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by William Shakespeare (directed by Kristóf Szabó).
She earned special merits in theatre pedagogical work, especially in coordinating the activities of the theatre groups of the Lenau High School and the German-language Youth Theatre Festival.
In 2016, she received the Stefan Jäger Award for special achievements at the German State Theatre Timisoara and the German Youth Theatre. In 2017 she was awarded the "Pro Cultura Timisiensis" prize for special achievements in the cultural field.
She participated in various acting workshops led by Simon Schlingplässer, Radu Alexandru Nica, Alexander Hausvater, Ida Jarcsek-Gaza, Miklós Bács, Andrea Gavriliu or Ștefan Lupu. Isa Berger also cooperated with the Mihai Eminescu National Theatre of Timişoara and the Merlin Children's and Youth Theatre of Timişoara, as well as with the "I. D. Sîrbu" Playhouse from Petroșani. Furthermore, she appeared in feature and short films.
